Self Service Banking is available at our branches for the convenience of our valued customers.

The Self Service Banking is equipped with Cash Recycling Machine (CRM) that has the combined functions of an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and Cash Deposit Machine (CDM). This allows customers to perform a wide range of transactions, for instance, balance inquiries, withdrawals, deposits, financing payments, bill payments and fund transfers.

PIN CHANGE

  • MBSB Bank Customer can change PIN at CRM and the latest PIN will be updated to Internet Banking application and vice versa.
  • Maximum PIN tries are 3 times consecutively. On the consecutive 4th incorrect PIN entered, card status will be automatically blocked “Captured PIN”. The count of PIN verification will be combined between CRM and Internet Banking. For example, 2 wrong PIN attempts at CRM and followed by 1 wrong PIN attempt via Internet Banking if done consecutively will collectively count as 3 times.
  • In such circumstances, customers are required to walk to any MBSB Bank branch to request for the PIN reissuance.

2 BALANCE INQUIRY (SAVING & CURRENT ACCOUNT)

  • MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i:

    • MBSB Bank Customer can check balance inquiry for up to fourteen (14) Saving or Current accounts that linked to MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i

  • Other Bank’s card:

    • Other Bank’s customer can check balance inquiry for one (1) primary saving account and one (1) primary current account that linked to the other Bank’s card.

CASH WITHDRAWAL

  • MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i:

    • Cash withdrawal of any amount specified is subject to the daily withdrawal limit set at the card level from active Savings or Current Account only.

    • Default cash withdrawal is RM3,000 and maximum limit is RM5,000.

    • Maximum cash withdrawal allowed per transaction is RM1,500.

    • The Withdrawal limit can be changed at any MBSB Bank CRM machine, Call Center or any nearest MBSB Bank branches.

  • Other Bank’s card:

    • Other Bank’s customer can only perform the cash withdrawal transaction from one (1) primary Saving Account and one (1) primary Current Account that linked to Other Bank’s card.

    • Maximum cash withdrawal amount allowed per transaction is RM1,500.

    • Cash withdrawal of any amount specified is subject to the daily withdrawal limit set at the respective bank’s debit card level.

  • Regional Link (Cross Border):

    • Regional link customer can only perform the cash withdrawal transaction from one (1) primary Saving Account and one (1) primary Current Account that linked to the card.

    • Maximum cash withdrawal amount allowed per transaction is RM1,500.

    • Cash withdrawal of any amount specified is subject to the daily withdrawal limit set at the respective bank’s debit card level.

    • Participating Regional link/Cross Border card:

      • Indonesia

      • Thailand

      • South Korea

      • Vietnam

  • Option of Fast Cash transaction at MBSB Bank Cash Recycling Machines:

    • Cash withdrawal of pre-fixed amount: RM100, RM200, RM300, RM500, RM700, RM1000 and RM1500.

 

MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i: No charge EXCEPT for Basic Saving Account-i (Wise Saver) & Basic Current Account-i (No-Fee) where fee of RM0.50 is chargeable for each transaction from the 9th transaction onwards.

4 INTRABANK FUND TRANSFER
  • Own Fund Transfer:

    • MBSB Bank customer can transfer fund within own accounts:

      • Saving→Saving

      • Saving→Current

      • Current→Current

      • Current→Saving

    • There is no minimum or maximum amounts are set for own fund transfer except for non-resident account capped at RM10,000.

  • 3rd Party Fund Transfer:

    • MBSB Bank Customer can to transfer fund from own accounts to 3rd party accounts within MBSB Bank:

      • Saving→Saving

      • Saving→Current

      • Current→Current

      • Current→Saving

    • Maximum amount is RM10,000 per day for both resident and non-resident account.

5 INTERBANK TRANSFER
  • Instant Transfer:

    • Instant Transfer allows instantaneous (real time) fund transfer from savings or current accounts to other bank’s accounts (i.e. deposit accounts, financing accounts or credit cards).

    • Scenarios on the Instant Transfer activities at MBSB Bank Cash Recycling Machines as per the following:

      Scenario 1

      Other Bank’s card → Other Bank’s account

      (Example: X Bank Card → X Bank account)

      Other Bank’s card → MBSB Bank account

  • Interbank GIRO (IBG):

    • Interbank GIRO (IBG) is a delayed funds transfer whereby the transactions are not reflected in the beneficiary’s accounts instantaneously but accordance to the timelines specified in the IBG Schedule Processing Time as per the following:-

    • IBG via CRM offers 2nd ID validation that support alphanumeric characters (as per PayNet Operational Procedures for Interbank GIRO (IBG) Version 1.4, Doc. Ref. 500-10/1/0002673).

    • Customers may choose 2nd validation to counter check recipient ID at recipient’s bank by using the Old IC, New IC, Army and Police ID, Passport No and Business Registration Number when initiating the transactions.

  • DuitNow:

    • DuitNow facilitates customers to transfer or receive funds instantaneously (real-time) using any registered proxies without specifying deposits account numbers.

    • DuitNow pairs the selected Proxy (DuitNow ID) with either MBSB Bank account numbers or other bank account numbers.

    • The following proxies/DuitNow ID types are available at MBSB Bank Cash Recycling Machines as an option:

      • Mobile Number

      • NRIC

      • Passport Number

      • Army/Police Number

      • Business Registration Number

    • For customer convenience, DuitNow maintenance also available at MBSB Bank Cash Recycling Machines as follows:

      • Register: To register proxy (Mobile numbers, NRIC, passport, army/police or business registration numbers.

      • Deregistration: To delete the registered proxy.

      • Activation/Deactivation the registered proxy.

      • Switch Bank: To switch the proxy registered with other bank to MBSB Bank.

      • Change account no: To change the existing MBSB Bank account no. to other MBSB Bank account no.

  • Daily Combined Limit for Interbank Transfer (Instant Transfer, IBG and DuitNow):

6 FINANCING PAYMENT
  • MBSB Bank customer can pay own or 3rd party financings account for Mortgage-i, Personal Financing-i and Hire Purchase-i (good account status).
  • 3rd party customer can also pay on behalf of the customer’s financing account either via ATM or CDM function at CRM.

7 FINANCING INQUIRY
  • Financing inquiry can be performed by the owner of the financing account if the financing account linked to Debit Card.
  • 3rd party customer will not be able to enquire other financing customer’s account.

  • Allows customers to pay bills conveniently and securely via CRM with no fee and charges.
  • Default JomPay limit is RM1,000 while the maximum limit is RM10,000

9 CASA DEPOSIT
  • Facility to allow cash deposit via CDM function either by using MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-I or cardless.
  • CRM can accept up to 200 pieces of currency notes for each cash deposit transaction, regardless of whether the deposit is to CASA or towards financing payment.

10 LIMIT CHANGE

  • Withdrawal Limit:

    • Multiple amount of RM1,000 up to RM5,000.

  • Intrabank Fund Transfer Limit:

    • Multiple amount of RM2,000 up to RM10,000.

  • InterBank Transfer Limit:

    • Multiple amount of RM10,000 up to RM50,000.

  • POS Limit / Online Purchase Limit:

    • Up to RM10,000.

11 OVERSEAS USAGE (ACTIVATION / DEACTIVATION)
  • MBSB Bank customer can activate or deactivate MBSB Bank Debit Card-i for overseas usage.
  • Activation can be choose permanently or temporarily by specifying the effective date and expiry date
  • Once activated, cardholders may use the ATM Regional Link services at participating foreign bank ATMs (Paynet/Rintis/Artajasa/KFTC/ITMX/VISA Plus).

12 CHEQUE BOOK REQUEST
  • MBSB Bank customer can request new cheque book for Current account.
  • The cheque book will be ready after 3 working days.

13 STATEMENT REQUEST (CURRENT ACCOUNT)
  • MBSB Bank customer can apply current account statement via CRM.
  • The statement will be posted to customer’s address within 10 working days.

  • MBSB Bank customer has the option to print the mini statement either from Savings or Current Account.
  • Only last 10 transactions will be printed on the receipt.

15 TERM DEPOSITS (PLACEMENT)
  • MBSB Bank customer can apply for Term Deposits from 1, 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 24, 36, 48 and 60 months of tenures.
  • Minimum placement is RM500 and will be debited immediately from current or saving account.

  1. What is the maximum cash that I can withdraw from MBSB Bank’s CRM?

    The cash withdrawal limit is defaulted at RM3,000.00. You may withdraw up to RM5,000.00 per day, and a maximum of RM1,500.00 per withdrawal transaction. The withdrawal limit may differ if you are using other banks’ debit card as the limit is subject to the card’s issuing bank.

  2. How do I change my withdrawal limit?

    Change of Withdrawal limit is available at our CRM by simply select Others button and followed by Limits Change and Withdrawal button (multiples of RM1,000.00 up to RM5,000.00 per day) or you may call the Customer Service Centre at 03-20963000 from 6.00am to 12.00am daily.

  3. Can I use other Bank’s card to perform transaction at MBSB Bank’s CRM?

    Yes, customers from any participating bank of Shared ATM Network switch (PayNet) as well as regional link (Cross border) able to access their funds at the MBSB Bank's CRM for cash withdrawal or balance inquiry transactions.

    Note:

    Regional link customers can only perform cash withdrawal transaction. Participating Regional link (Cross Border) country:

  4. Which financing services that I can make payment via MBSB Bank’s CRM?

    You can make financing payment for Mortgage-i, Personal Financing-i and Hire Purchase-i (for good account status) services via the CRM.

  5. How many pieces of currency notes can I insert into the CRM for each cash deposit transaction?

    Our CRM can accept up to 200 pieces of currency notes for each cash deposit transaction, regardless of whether the deposit is to CASA or towards financing payment.

  6. Can I change my MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i PIN? How do I set the new PIN at the CRM?*

    Yes, you are allowed to perform PIN change at our CRM. At the main menu screen, select ‘Others’ and followed by PIN Change button. Then, enter the new PIN followed by new PIN confirmation. Screen will update the new PIN and display whether the new PIN update is successful.

  7. What if I forget my PIN number and entered the wrong PIN a few times?

    Maximum PIN tries are 3 times consecutively. On the consecutive 4th incorrect PIN entered, card status will be automatically blocked “Captured PIN”. The count of PIN verification will be combined between CRM and Internet Banking.     In such circumstances, kindly proceed to any nearest MBSB Bank branch to request for the PIN reissuance.

  8. What should I do if my debit card is retained by the machine (CRM)?

    • For MBSB Bank Visa Debit Card-i:
      • Immediately call MBSB Bank Customer Service Centre at 03-20963000 to block the card and proceed to the nearest branch for card replacement.
    • For Other Bank's card:
      • Immediately contact respective bank (card issuer bank) to block and replace the card.
